An operator of a private fund which has not received capital contributions from investors for the purposes of investment at set out under the Private Funds Act (2021 Revision) now has an obligation to file a declaration to attest to this fact, within six months after the end of the financial year end. The declaration shall be made on the form set out in the Schedule to the Private Funds (Amendment Regulations, 2021.
Local Audit Sign-off
All private funds are required to have their accounts audited and signed-off by an approved local auditor.
